okie, so i'm back frm camp, been slacking for 2 days n now im off my lazy butt updating here. haha~ pls dun kill me for the delay.... juz been really busy. :P n sick :PP n .... well the list goes on. hahaha~

ok anw, day 1.
met at nus at 9, well i was early so i reached at 8.30. yah..... juz chatted w some councillors, only 1 other freshie there frm my house, haha~ n we played this game(yay! new ice-breaker haha), if i say how it goes here u'll go away w huge qn marks. haha~ but yah well, its a violent game which requires one to get beaten by the two ppl beside if the person forgets the sequence. hehe~ fun lah....

then finally, my grp peeps all here. mi grp is ravio!!!!!!!!!! *screams* mi house is romanov!!!!!!!!!!*screams louder* so, e ppl in my grp r mi*duh*,faith,melissa, star, jinfeng, danelle, constance, robbie, wenyuan, christopher n johnathen. yupz, 11 freshies.our ogls r christine n roy, councillors r carin,aaron,sarah, liza n yimin. yepz... so anw, as usual for first day, we had more ice-breaking games, n then cheering session where we learnt all the house cheers n arts camp cheers. heh~ this camp have a lot of hokkien cheers, which leaves me baffled but wth. hehe~

then it was lunch. yeah, camp food, so aint tt delicious, but it's alright to sustain us. well, also a welcome change frm the usual ben hassan menu, but i can say tt ben hassan's food is nicer, so inno peeps stop complaining, hahaha~ anw, after lunch, it was games, ran ard arts building playing games, u know, usual orientation stuff, og versus og. yeah.... brings back memories of jc orientation.... haha~ i miss my councillors.....ok, off topic. anw, then yeah well, after tt, was dinner. slacked ard talking cock n playing lame games. how many meh meh jump over the wall???? hehe~ im proud to say tt chris the slowest managed to solve the lame joke on the 3rd day. haha~ so after dinner, was more running ard, og versus og, night games. yah.... but our grp darn slack, others run, we walk, haha~ but still managed to complete most games.not bad yah? hehe~ thanks to the old bird aaron, who knows all the shortcuts in arts fac. heh~

n then it was fashion parade, roy saboed to be the model. heh! anw, fashion parade quite fun la, see all the costumes, haven seen one since those sec 1 orientation camps. but the creativity level here is much higher la.... haha~ also quite funny.... we made use of the materials we won frm the games earlier to do the costumes. yeah.... so ours turned out to be some hawaiian girl w huge balloon boobs w a paission for dancing n men. haha~ suits roy alot. :P n i saw jingru there!!! n jennifer!!!! omg.... haha~ such a small world.... actually expected to see jingru, i knew she in fass yr 2, plus she like me, like camping, so no surprise tt she's there. yeah... n jennifer was my mentor in sec sch!!!! she help me get used to prefect duties n all, n now she studying same place as me!!!! hehe~ so fun! haha~

yah by the time it all ended, it was *gasp* 2plus. actually most of the time it ends at 2 plus... hahaha~

day2
woke up, report in canteen at er 8.30. yeah. todae its amazing race, in fass n west coast. yeah..... 3 stages, outwit, outplay n outlast(i think). so 1st stage, in fass. i dun really remb wad we did, i think first game was some poles one which we had to cross frm one end of the river to another using the poles. yeah.... our grp was the fastest grp so far at tt time, out of 5 grps. then it was erm retrieving poles frm bottom floor to 4th floor, using anything on us, so we used shoelaces n a shirt. yeah.... quite fast lah, no poles dropped on the floor either. hehe~ think it was 6 poles we had to puull up. yupz. then third game was er.... using vanguard sheets, step on circles then move in sequence tog. yeah..... i know, u guys r lost. haha~ pardon me... :P anymore games? i forgot....

then headed over to the sports n recre centre, for 2nd stage. before tt, we had some time, so slacked ard in the arts canteen... one thing, 1st n 2nd day, our grp also the slackest. when we had to wait for grps to finish b4 we can play, aaron would bring us someplace for a cuppa or to buy snacks, or sit n blow aircon. haha~ yeah.... cool huh? i think only he dared to do tt, so as a result, our grp wasnt tt shagged n had lotsa time to bond n get to know each other as well. which is better as compared to running ard w/o a chance to talk much. yah.... anw, 2nd stage, at src, had to bunny hop, then duck wall up a slope halfway, then crawl up using the hands to pull up a rope. after tt, 2nd game was to blow tennis balls frm one end to another thru this hand-made mini goal post w/o the ball rolling out of the vanguard or the masking tape(which marks its route). so christopher put his spare shirts n shorts to good use, using them to form a barrier to guide the balls, n so it was kinda fast. only one ball got stuck on the masking tape which slowed everything down for us, but hey, it was fun. plus smart move by chris. i think the station ics were stunned. haha~ 3rd game, had to blow out candles frm a few metres away, w only 2 ppl to help. the actual method was using the straw, roll up and then whackin it w the finger(u know the one ppl always do at mac), yeah, but it takes a long time n lotsa tries to put out one candle, n we only have 10 straws n 6 candles to put out, n frm wad we heard, for our stage, only 1 grp has managed to put out one candle so far. so wad we did was to join the straws tog making use of the masking tape aaron brought(for mascot making), n picking out the straws frm the ground n the dustbin n cutting away the ruined bits(yes we had scissors as well), then joining the good bits to the straws, hence making a long tunnel of straws. then we had robbie, the one w the biggest lungs n longest body, to be in pumping position n blow thru the straws. in the end, our grp put out 5 candles, n would have cleared the 6th if not for shortage of time. haha~ so ravio holds a record again, for most number of candles put out. hehe~ n no one else could fathom how we did tt, haha~ n then it was lunch.

after tt, 4th game, at swimming pool there. i went swimming!!! hehe~ anw, some of us had to swim in the pool n get paper plated bearing numbers to form the total amt of money the game master wants, for eg, say she wants $1.25, we had to get $1.25 worth of paper plates. yah..... n course its paper plates, it breaks easily so those broken not counted. last round was free for all, so the grp w most number of plates wins. yeah.... our grp won in the bonus round w our cheer, haha~ 40 pts... hehe~

then headed over to west coast park, 2nd game was sth like the spider web at pasir ris, had to climb up n take the white or black cloth down, more white clothes the better, cos white worth more pts plus its all the way up there. so all the guys plus danelle played(to make the no same as the other grp), rest of us cheered. yeah.... not bad lah. ok.... carin gave us lotsa bonus pts hehe~ thanks carin!!!! 3rd game, zong ji mi ma, i played in this game, along w some others..... in this game, if we guess the correct number, we had to drink this concoction of toufu w some other stuff, n the more times we had to drink, the more pts we get. so 3 rounds, my grp won the first 2 rounds, lost the last round. so we had to drink 2 bowls... since we won first two..... 1st bowl was very sour, cos of the vinegar, 2nd bowl was better as the spiciness covered the sourness thanks to the chili powder, n anw i like spicy stuff hahaha~ :P dunno how the 3rd one taste like, i know it has coffee n some other stuff in it... haha~ n then we headed back to fass i think.... cant remb if there was another game..... so yeah, cut thru danelle's condo to get to the bus stop, shortcut lah, wait for bus for such a bloody long time.... aiyo..... then at fass there wait for another shuttle bus..... then finally reached the canteen at the biz block. yeah.... had pizza for dinner! yummies.... thanks canadian pizza for sponsoring!!!! hehe~ so after dinner, had some entertainment as houses tried to compete for pills(extra 10points, nvr has vanguard pills been so much in demand b4 haha), so we had brave souls gg up to sing for the rest of us. haha~ n then it was the usual cheering thing... yeah. n then we had briefing for fright night n sp night. my house n arlo had to go for fright night first. sp is secret pal, basically like angel mortal only here its mainly guy n girl n we r paired up according to famous couple characters, like im lois lane n my partner is clarke kent. so we have to write letters to each other n all, yeah. then anw, on sp nite tt day, we would be blindfolded n given a chance to talk to our sp, which is diff frm angel n mortal lah. so quite fun. haha

anw, so we had fright nite first. me n danelle paired up, ours is the rooftop station, which i heard is 2nd scariest. maybe tt's y me n danelle avoided crawling thru the dark tunnels there. haha! anw it was quite funny lah, both of us juz kept talking to each other loudly to cover the silence. n then when we saw a "ghost" crawling towards us, we would go "boo!" then ask lots of funny n stupid qn, i think the ghosts became chao sian lah. haha~ n then there would be this poor girl at our station who had to keep screaming periodically cos it had sth to do w our clue. anw, halfway thru, while we were looking for clues, someone played this eerie old music(i later found out it was my sp- yeah due to shortage of guys, my sp was a councillor), n me n danelle bumped into a total of 3 ghosts so far. so we followed the music, n saw this door. danelle opened the door while i looked ard. nicely decorated lah the interior, really gives off tt old spooky feeling. it was like those old chinese horror films, w red lanterns, a mirror, old hairpins n comb n all, yeah. gd effect there, w the music n screaming girl. so we found the clue, n we were so engrossed reading the clue tt when the door suddenly banged(later my sp told me it was another councillor who banged the door on purpose), we jumped n screamed, n promptly proceeded to place the note back n walk away b4 breaking out into laughter. haha~ n then we bumped into another ghost, i think she's the same as the first one, anw, we kept asking her if she was gonna scare us or do anything to us n when there was no reply, we quickly walked away frm the site, all the while asking stupid qns, n then danelle asked her if she was frm theatre studies, cos all so good actors n actresses, n u can see the ghost smiling, trying to surpress her laughter. haha~ n then when we went down, we didnt see the guide who led us up before, so we suspected it wasnt over yet, n sure enough, we spotted someone hiding behind the pillar. then danelle was like, u scare us we'll jump down, threatening the ghost. so we edged nearer n nearer to the railing until we saw who was behind the pillar, which was roy. n we promptly asked him if it was roy, n he burst out laughing. n liza was hiding behind the aircon thingy.... hahahah~ tooo bad, they din get to scare us. haha~ so funny.... n then they started chatting w us until someone else frm upstairs came down n roy remembered they werent supposed to talk to us. hahaha~ so anw, the clue was arlo killed his own daughter. come to think of it, the setting n all made sense, since the ghosts were all female(except roy the spoiler),prolly acting as the daughter's spririts, the table n all prolly the daughter's dressing rm, plus the screaming girl was prolly when she was murdered. plus arlo is a playboy, which means he has many bastard child. yeah.... ok so we headed back to compile all of our clues w the rest of the grp. hehe~ i realised they didnt reveal the dark secrets at all... hmm.....

then it was the sp thingy, mine was a girl. or so i tot. as i said, i later found out where n who my actual sp was so more abt tt later. so anw, mine was at first a girl lah, then we had to play this mentos game which requires us to pass the mentos from one person to another only using our mouth, so end up nearly kissing since we r blindfolded as well. yeah... then after tt, kept chatting while the councillors ard kept disturbing us w feathers n stuff. yeah..... ok lah, had a nice time taking to her.... found out alot abt the hist major in nus n all... yeah.

end of 2nd day, i think i slept at 3 plus. yeah.

ok, i'll stop here for now. time for late lunch, time now is 1.45, then i gotta go off for driving. see u'all tonite!!!! n tmr have ravio og outing!!!! wooohoooo!!!! *coughs*
