singspore idol piano show today. it was rather disappointing, the guys. as in, i don't feel the vibe, unlike when u watch the Americans performing. the only two notable performances were paul twohill and jonathan leong. paul for well that wierd hairdo and he does have a nice voice. jonathan has this nice deep voice. but alas, even both of them were lacking that rock-iness.

i wonder if the girls will do better.

oh oh! and yesterday, we erm repelled our main float frame (for rag, duh!) from the 3rd storey (outside central lib) to the lover's park (dont ask me, someone said it was) area. it was soooo scary and nerve-wrecking. i mean, i was the one at the bottom with a few others preparing to "catch" the frame as it comes down. so i could see the whole thing shuddering and tittering precariously over the edge, then bending so much i was afraid the screws will give way, then it was just so scary. omg. so when it landed safely, we were all like, "PHEW!!!!" let's NOT attempt something like that again. haha~

bleh. my nose is acting up again. argh! going to get a fever, i think. damn. plus camp next week and grading coming, I CAN'T AFFORD TO BE SICK! argh!

and erm, my house is currently devoid of a kitchen. yup. construction work on kitchen has started. which means.... more headaches from that irritating hammering and drilling. grrrrrrr. ym is not happy. haha~ but ym is also excited about a new kitchen. maybe after that, ym will feel more motivated to spend more time in the kitchen learning to cook. haha~ *hears groans all around* OOI! haha~

i don't know why, but today was rather..... depressing. nothing bad happened, just sorta out of it? heh~

i'm going to turn 20 soon and i can't help but wonder, what have i been doing these past 20 years of my life? i haven't really done anything, and i don't see how i've changed over the years to become a better person. i don't see how i've become smarter, or wiser, or personality-wise better, or much more able to think and stand-up for myself, or better at writing or kendo, i don't see any of it. and worse of all, today while ragging, and yesterday while watching training, i realise i just can't be bothered anymore. as in, i've lost that passion in me. it's as though i'm doing things methodically. don't get me wrong, i do like kendo, and i do enjoy ragging, i just feel like im not into it as much as i used to anymore. instead, i just feel tired. very tired. and suffocated. day-in and day-out, its rag, kendo, tuition,family and friends, rag kendo tuition family and friends, i feel as though im losing myself. i dont seem to be able to just sit and rest and have time to myself. and i think this in-turn is making me just shut-down.

and next week, there's arts pre-camp. and then training. and then rag rag rag and tuition tuition tuition. i have 3 kids to tuition now, making it 5 lessons per week. all of them are taking psle this year, and i'm teaching english to all of them. my birthday... prolly spend it slaving away. the remainder of this week, there's shopping for a few friends' pressie and tutees' assessment books, rag, tuition and training and bbq.

argh... i hope i wont just burn-out and leave an empty shell behind.

4/1 bbq on sat night was fun! munched on food, played basketball, chit-chat, did stupid stuff etc etc. haha~ and i didn't need to bbq my food! woot! haha~ the guys did most of the bbq-ing.

this time around, quite a number of people turned up. other than the usual group (me layping steven junhong shuling huiping meiling tiffany shengxiong minwei terence bingcong keith benedict hongwei minkang jionghui), alicia, maryam, haysrina, eddy, lynn, alvin ang, oliver and shen yong came as well. so yah, quite a number of people. :D and the food was catered too, so we didnt need to make any prior preparations. wahaha~ goodies, cos it meant i didnt need to rush from supermarket to meiling's place to tuition kid's home and then back to meiling's place. haha~

didnt take any photos though, digicam not available. ah wells. next time. layping was also remarking that 10 years down the road, when we all meet up, we'll be playing mahjong and blackjack rather than bbq-ing. haha~ true true. but it's nice to see everyone at least once a year. haha~ shen was asking me about those good old chalet times, and well, i don't think we'll be having one anytime soon, if at all. cos guys going into NS... yup yup. oh those guys going into NS soon, take cares yah! heh~

attended one of my sec sch prefect head's wedding on sunday. she's 2 years older (ie 22) and we were so surprised when she invited us to her wedding. seems like not too long ago, we were bumbling sec 2 and 3 prefects under her care. ah... those good old days. heh~ anyway, hidayah looked really beautiful in her malay wedding attire. haven't seen her in 4 years, but she still looks the same! and she recognized all of us! haha~ gosh, felt so old all of a sudden. i mean, a few years ago, we weren't even thinking about marriage and here we are, at the treshold of adulthood and people i know are getting married. hidayah was just one of the few. i found out that 2 of my ex-classmates were married too, one just last month. ahhhh.... old liaoz. haha~

not to mention, those juniors of mine that attended the wedding were mostly attached already. and i was joking with them, saying that soon, i would be recieving wedding invitations from them while i am still single. haha~ and one of my cheeky juniors retorted that it'll be him recieving wedding invitation from me first. yah right *rolls eyes*. haha~ anyway, we were teasing mee kuen (from my batch, but 2 years older) that she would be next to get married amongst us prefects. hehe~ so, looking forward to another friend getting married! hee~

on the other hand, im not feeling so good today. sob sob. not training later, just going to watch. already feeling as though im gonna faint any moment. hmmmm... shortage of blood? gasp! vampires!! ok, pardon me. been reading too much vampire stories lately. haha~

watched da vinci code with keyou today and let's just say that it wasn't that good. i much preferred the book actually. at least, the book allowed for moments of suspense and riddles and puzzles for you to figure out. the movie didn't provide much instances at all. and it was very touch-and-go for every scene. you don't really get into the movie, you know? not like some great and wonderful movies where you really really feel for the characters, the plot, it becomes a part of you so much so that you forget that you're the audience. this one... i was very much seeing it like an outsider. sad, considering you have a big name like tom hanks. but i'd agree with yalan, paul bettany was good as silas! haha~ although the self-mortification scenes could be much much better (or worse, depending on how you view it) and i was utterly disappointed with that big scene where robert and fauche are examining sauniere's (sp) body. it was supposed to be grotesque. it was supposed to make you chilled-to-the-bone. it didn't. sad.

on a brighter note, i'm going to watch xmen3 with lay ping! woot! i can't wait! although i found out that there's very little of rogue in this installment. sigh. i want more rogue! it's such a waste 'cos there's so much room for her character development, following the first xmen movie, but sigh. not to mention she was (is) my favourite xmen character. oh wells.

oh, and me being the slow coach that i am, caught the american idol results show at 11.30pm (actually 12am, missed the first half hour) on star world after kendo training last night. and oh-my-goodness taylor won! woot! haha~ i love taylor!!! i know loads of people that dont, but i dont care, i love taylor!!! i'm so glad he won!!! i didn't expect him to go so far, but he did. and he was the only one who was never ever (to my knowledge) in the bottom three! and then, he actually won!!! oh my goodness!!! yay! haha~

other than that, american idol was nice. they had mary j. blige singing one, which i love! and then toni braxton, clay aiken, carrie underwood, PRINCE.... omg. prince was so cool. haha~ ok. i shall stop gushing now.

collecting my new frames tmr! i cant wait! woot!

met lay ping today to go walk walk in town. tried on dresses, thinking of what to wear for my cousin's wedding end of the year. hmmm... oh and we dropped by marks and spencer at paragon as well to say hi to tingren. it was rather fun and tiring, considering that i barely had 3 hours of sleep before that. haha~

had rag camp. supposed to be until thursday but the efficient raggers finished what we were supposed to do in two days. so, we get to go home today! and me being lazy old me left early today to meet princess lay ping in town. and so i didn't rag today. naaaahhh... anyway, yesterday was the stayover. ragged till late, chit-chat while waiting for the rain to stop, gave up, went to shower, slept at 4.30am. got woken up at random periods in between and finally at 8 plus by people walking through AS6. heh~ but it was good seeing the hard tech side completing the frame, the dancers starting their choreography and us soft techies paper marche-ing diligently away! heh~

alrights, 3 hours of sleep = horribly sleepy and stoned and irritably ym and annoyingly high ym, so i'm going to go off to sleepyland now. ciaoz!




I forgot to mention in my previous post that I got new frames for myself too! Went to see my optician for an eye check-up, turns out my degree increased slightly. so yeah, i'm at 1,200 for the right, 1,100 for the left. sucks. sigh... but wells, i've got nice new frames for myself. haha~

JJ talentime last night. it was held at NTU's Nanyang Auditorium this year. so far... aha~ luckily, there's felicia to lead us there and back. bwehehe~ anywayz, they sure made it a grand affair this year. what with the elaborate stage decorations and all. but the sound system wasn't very good. yeah.

anyway, it was alright this year. the dance groups were really nice, save one. idayu's sister's group was really really good, and the best dancer was from that group too. he brought the dance alive. yeah. singing was ok. the english solos still can't compare to the powerhouse vocals of ying peng, eugene and caleb two years ago, but the guy who sang enrique's "bailamos" (sp) was funny. funny in a i-cant-sing-or-dance-well-but-still-try-to kind of way. idayu insists that she can sing better than him. yes yes idayu, i know. haha~ the two female singers were alright. the first one sang "how do i live" by trisha yearwood. good vocals, zero stage presence. the second sang "because of you" by kelly clarkson. her vocals weren't as powerful as the first one, but she had great stage performance. she captured our attention. but well, expectedly, the winner was the one with the voice.

group vocals, garden of eve won! hee~ the only band in that category. they did a song by cranberries, i can't really remember what song cos i was outside for the most part, waiting for miss idayu to arrive. heh~ but the part that i did catch, it was really good! and the singer knew how to entertain the crowd. the other two groups were alright. the guy duo played the guitars while singing. their vocals weren't that bad as well. the female one, not that great in my opinion. like a typical chinese singer (those not that talented ones that are prevalent in the music scene nowadays).

chinese solo, there were 4 contestants. the boy boy won! best singer in my opinion, and he is cute. so there. haha~ also most interesting for that category, he interacted with the audience during the song. so that is good. and he was really comfortable on-stage. another plus. the female one, cannot make it too. her dress was nice though. the other two males were alright.

champion of the champions category, we have eugene ryan from '03 competing! woot! my batch de... haha~ but he got 1st runner up. not bad. at least the winner was a female with great vocals. she's from the '98 batch. yup yup. the other two females, well, they were alright.

dance group, idayu's sis' group won. mutton balls. such a cute name. haha~ yah, they really got the crowd cheering for them. the girl beside me was bouncing up and down in her seat some more. the other dance group which could have given mutton balls a run for their money was the all-girl group, no vowels. they were good. yeah. the last one paled in comparison. they were third.

then there's the special guest performers. mr joseph tan was no surprise, he performs every year. this year though, he sang a chinese and a malay song, and danced. woot! haha~ i overheard someone asking if he was gay. that got the rest of us laughing. hehe~ he is NOT gay. haha~ just erm flexible. haha~ the other teacher that performed cant really sing, but she was a good sport. the guest-of-honour wasn't spared either. he performed songs that related to his growing up times, and the last one he sang being "peng you", which had everyone who knew the song singing along. he was also the one who sabo-ed the principal to go up and sing with him. haha~ funny. then there's ntu's modern jazz dance group, jj's indian dance group and jj's modern dance group.

by the time everything ended, it was 10.40pm. my goodness. so looooong.... by the time i reached home, it was 12mn. gah.

ok, so i cut my hair today! whee~~~ it looks so short now! and so different! bwehehe~ was telling tr that all that hair on the floor would be enough to make a wig! haha~ anw, the 1st thing tr did after my haircut was to play with my hair. -_-" then she commented that my hair makes me look so much more feminine now. (thanks ah, i know i'm not that feminine, no need to rub it in :*() hehe~ oh and then she went on and on about how she can't believe that i could actually bear to cut my hair until this short (well still long, not long enough to tie, not short enough to be called short). i think she's more excited abt my hair then myself lor! haha~

and then, miss tr, in an attempt to get me to be her last minute movie date after her cousin ditched her, treated me to mission impossible 3. so nice me spent my supposed free night watching american idol results show at lido, craning my head over irritating tall people that wont sit still. and the movie wasn't that nice. i didn't watch mi1, and i sure as hell couldn't be bothered to watch mi2 (despite owning the vcd), the only thing i know abt the mi movies is the theme song. full stop. heh so good thing tr treat me, if not i'll be crying over paying for a movie i don't really like instead of watching something i want to watch, like the da vinci code (tom hanks!). heh~ but well, for tr, i saw the movie. bwehehe~

last night, i watched "man of letters" with mun wei. it was the opening night, for the nus people only. and i got the free tickets! hehe~ it was nice. the singing and all. i like the men singing, their voices are so nice! and the songs were stuck in my head, one of which was no thanks to mun wei. -_-" but yah, it was nice. funny too. and cute. heh~ cute for a musical? weird i know.

met a blind old man who curses people who try to help him. so darn fucking rude. what do you do when a kind soul offers to help you? you say, "thank you!" and not "ka ne nah! ji pai!" or however to spell those hokkien vulgarities. honestly, no wonder no one else bothers. no one who saw his display of ungratefulness, that is. especially after the person helped you somewhat.

and i found out from my dad later at dinner that the blind guy is a regular at the 173 bus stop around 7pm. so people taking 173 from clementi at that timing, do beware of that old man. apparently, not only is his mouth rude, so is his actions. swings his arms around in the bus hitting people, etc etc. what? being blind gives you the right to injure others? you're not even fully blind! give some respect to others, and maybe then they will respect you. demand it, and expect none in return.

i vomited during training today. nothing interesting or exciting or whatever. just.... disappointing? i dont know. i didn't expect myself to actually do a merlion during training itself, resulting in my having to dettol all my bogu. then again, perhaps i shouldn't have been too surprised. seriously, with a weak person like me, stuff like that shouldn't even surprise anymore.

my goal for all kendo training sessions, amongst other things like cuts etc, was to go on throughout the training. when i do, the sense of satisfaction at the end is just great, so much so that i end up feeling hyper. yah. sadly, it isn't often. for every three sessions that go without incident, i'm bound to meet one where i end up having to fall out for one reason or another. and its starting to frustrate me. i don't know why this keeps happening, i honestly don't. i've tried so many different methods, but time and time again, the same thing comes back. today was by far the worst attack i've ever had. not only did i black out twice, i puked. it never happened to such an extent before. why? and the worst thing was, it wasn't even an hour into training. NOT even an hour. how pathetic is that? i'm utterly disappointed with myself. disgusted, perhaps. i don't know. i just think i'm weak. kendo is the only sport where i face such problems. i can run for rounds around the track continuously, no problem. i can go hiking, no problem. i can swim laps, no problem. i can cycle non-stop, go to the gym to do cardio for 2 hours and yet not go through a 2 hour training session for kendo. why? did i train myself wrongly or something? i mean, i seriously went jogging to build up my stamina, but my first training session today was rather disappointing, to say the least. i'm even tempted to go jog for some time during the new paper big walk coming sunday, but i think robbie and all will just kill me if i do that. so i'm weak. that's all i can think of that is the reason. i don't know what's wrong with my health, its haywire ever since that fateful day where i got a high fever last year. and it sucks. it goes to the extent where i keep wondering if i made the right choice in picking up kendo. if every training session is spent falling out after 45 mins, what's the point in continuing? im just going to hold everyone back. im just going to affect everyone. interest sustains me, and the occassional training where i get that sense of fulfillment after staying on completely. i can only hope that interest will continue to be strong enough to carry me through. either that, or i'd be forced to leave one day - from parents or from the kai.

rag isn't going good at all, as well. wenhui is going crazy with the constant setbacks we've been meeting, and the inability to complete on schedule. i have to remain calm so as not to add to her stress. but i'm worried, it is not going good at all. if tomorrow goes well, then perhaps hope will come again. if it doesn't, i fear what it will do to our morale. i can only be calm (hopefully they don't see it as nonchalence). good thing wenhui doesn't read my blog. i don't want to burden her even more.

sleep beckons. let's hope, for the sake of my health and my sanity, that i will be able to get a good night sleep tonight. i had 5 mosie bites on my right hand yesterday, and when night came, it itched so much i couldn't sleep, keep waking up to apply more tiger balm. let's hope switching to the antiseptic rash relief cream works miracles.

hello! was going to blog last night but blogspot gave me problems, so here i am today! just came back from a chalet, longest i ever went without sleep. haa! wonders if the ability to go without sleep was due to my insomnia or those camps i always have. or maybe both. hmmm...

anyway, kendo chalet was alright. the chalet where i spent the most time playing cards (and no sleep)! woke up really early on monday morning (slept at 3am, woke up at 7.30am) thinking it was 8.30am. didn't realise the mistake until erm 15 minutes later? haha~ was supposed to go to sunset way to collect the satays first before heading down to pasir ris to meet some people to go shop for bbq stuff. end up, the satay man called me just before i left the house offering to send the satays over to the chalet direct in the late afternoon. so yay! saved myself a trip, although it meant waking up early for nothing. -_-" anyway, spent my time hunting for the portable radio in the storeroom and lugged it over, only to realise much later that the battry compartment must be spoilt or something cos it didn't work. sigh. waste my effort.

at clementi, bumped into my sec sch junior. he was going to changi, so we accompanied each other on the train and chat all the way! hehe~ singapore is so small.

met michelle, sarah, shunji and jesse at white sands mall at 11.30am. went to NTUC, girls shop for food, guys shop for utensils, finished really early, spent our time playing cards (and so it begins...) outside mac. had lunch, siew and mun wei came, took cab, check-in, cleaned up the chalet and packed the food and settle down. jeremy, zhen yuan, estee and ting soon arrived with the bulk of the food. then they split into two groups, one played mahjong, the other played cards. -_-" seriously, chalet play mahjong and cards???? eep! me, siew, mun wei and shunji went cycling. bwahaha! i didn't travel to the other end of singapore for nothing! after 2 hours plus, went to buy ice from cheers, came back, bbq time! 16 people in total! ack! photo time!

after which, spent time playing cards with yongkai, jeremy, zhenyuan and later shunji all the way till the morning. then went to mac for breakfast with sarah tagging along, came back, played some more cards, cleaned up the place, check-out, bid adieu and went to aloha loyang chalet.

aloha loyang, the peeps from my og were still sleeping like pigs. there wasn't any room on the bed, so i took out my hammock (great foresight! bwahaha~) and used it as a sleeping bag and rested on the floor. didnt sleep cos it was darn cold. used the bed after caroline got up, slept for a grand total of 30mins. haha. spent most of the time drifting and mumbling to the others.

woke up, more cards, lunch. faith's mum cooked!!! it was laksa!!! yummies! we also learnt the art of eating huge animal jellies. we had a running commentary on it, freaking mel out in the end so much that she had a hard time eating her erm rabbit ear i think. haha~ waited for alex to finish up his vegetarian bee hoon and for christopher, oliver and guo ann to arrive before going cycling. cliff went home cos he didnt know how to cycle. wahaha!

cycled for an hour, it was so fun! played around at the main pasir ris park playground, relieving those childhood days. then cycled around in the maze. more photo-taking! it all ended at about 5.30pm, then it was a leisurely walk back to aloha. played in the arcade till 6.30pm, went back to the bungalow chalet, packed and left. homebound!!!

went to Kbox with my fellow kendokas today. Casper, Wen Hao, Michelle, Sarah, Suyu, Mun Wei, Siwei and me. :) it was fun! all of us were first-timers at Kbox too! haha~ so it was pretty funny, we were trying to figure out how to work the controller and all.

siwei started the ball rolling with her rendition of she's superstar. honestly, i dont like them, but the fun of it, i sang along to the chorus with the rest, as backup supporters to siwei! haha~ then it was a host of warming-up songs, then screaming songs and songs where we went crazy and "danced", and those nice oldies and duets. YMCA was so fun! we kept laughing till some of us lost our voice, and acting like idiots. hehe~ lemon tree and pretty fly were other fun songs as well. When casper and suyu sang huo yuan jia, we kept laughing cos all casper did was the "huo huo huo huo...." part, and he did it with such pride! haha~ it was rather fun.

and of course, we discovered the singing prowess of wen hao! he could do the high-pitched bee gees when singing Dancing, as well as the deep voice of Phantom in phantom of the opera. heh~

oh and those horrible english mtvs they used to replace the original ones had us cracking up, so much that we could hardly sing. haha~ half the time anyway. heh~ horrible! and the english lyrics? omg... they screwed it up. heh~

sadly, i had to leave earlier cos i had to go give tuition. and my camera went out of batt when we wanted to take a group photo before i left. sighz... no pictures!!! :*( never mind, now that i have the kbox card, we can have more kbox sessions! hehe~




went to bugis with kathy, jaslyn and bella today. jaslyn was in a happy mood cos she just ended her paper yesterday. haha~ good for her!

it was fun shopping around with them. kathy has this thing for teasing bella. it was really funny when kathy would see a nice top or a nice dress or something and immediately she would take it and shove it to bella, then force her to go and try and let us see. haha~ poor bella, she was like our model or something.

jaslyn got herself a nice black and white striped top. she kept complaining it makes her look like a zebra or a jailbird later though, hehe~ no thanks to us, i know. hah. but its a nice top which looked good on her. bella got herself a cd, im not sure if kathy bought anything since she was still shopping around with jin xun(who came after her paper) after we left. as for myself, i bought my mum her mother's day gift, zhang hui mei's latest album and a denim skirt from this fashion. i can actually fit into this fashion's bottoms!!! oh wow!!!! haha~ didn't think i'd fit into one since the clothes there are like for skinny people. i have given up on ever fitting nicely (if ever) into any of the tops at this fashion nor any or those free size ones commonly found in bugis village, far east and what nots. so sad. sigh.

went to swensen's after that since the three princesses were complaining about aching feet and backaches. heh~ kathy had dinner there w jin xun, bella n jaslyn had ice-cream and fries and i had ice water. heh~ going to go home for dinner anyway. mooched some ice-cream and fries though, heh~ and kathy was into her habit of feeding everyone at the table spoonfuls of her food. -_-"

it was great fun to go shopping today! and kathy, bella and jin xun will be staying over for the chalet on monday night, which means i'll need to find them sometime during the kendo chalet. gah. 2 places to run to. then join them again on tues. they intend to go kbox, but i'll most likely find mel, robbie and the rest. if they are not going along to kbox too that is. if they are.... help me! im going to go bankrupt.

I love taylor hicks. he is so funny. his first performance yesterday cracked me up, it was so nice to see him dancing and enjoying himself, it makes you just want to get up and dance along with him. he has that sort of exuberance. its just so nice to watch him perform. i agree with yalan, taylor just has so much passion for music he doesnt give two hoots about what people have to say about his dancing. you go taylor!!! and his second performance? splendid.

i can't wait for bleach to finish downloading. i want to watch my new episode!!! i waited for 2 weeks for it, and the torrent finally came on wednesday. so, i hope it completes its download soon so that i can watch it tonight. tee-hee. and my vm dl is so slow.... most of the time its either 0 or 1/2 kb/s. growl.




watched Westside Story with jamie on sat. it was nice, i loved the dance moves most. the person playing Maria had a very very very high voice though, and whenever she hit the high notes (which was like, most of the time), i had goosebumps. and she usually overwhelm tony's voice whenever they sing together. haha~ but it was nice :) i love musicals!!! the next one i'm going to watch is Man of Letters with mun wei. have free tickets, so why not? haha~ i wanted to watch grease, but considering that i just spent 95 bucks on westside, i better not. haha~ after that, jamie had to rush home cos she has one more paper to go and she was having a family dinner. heh~ anyways, i'm supposed to go shopping with her after her exams. gotta help her to pick a dress for her to wear to her sister's wedding in june. haha~ she trust my taste ah??? hmmm...

was woken up early in the morning by my mum to go hiking with her and dad at bukit timah hill today. for exercise, she said. more like feeding the mosies breakfast, to me. i've got huge mosie bites and i doubt i actually lost any weight so.... -_-" aha~

met tingren at plaza sing after that. went to tcc and bumped into mun wei there. another one out slacking in town before her exams end. *flykick* haha~ anyway, i love tcc's new minty mocha coffee! so yummylicious! heh~ i had the toasted tuna and cheese sandwich as well (see, gonna put back the weight i lost in the morning, if i lost any at all). tingren, as usual, make me feel like a pig when she ordered a slice of chocolate cake for lunch and oreo milkshake only. grrr.... remind me not to eat with her. haha~

shopped around after that. i bought hiroko's new cd!!! yippees!!! been hunting for it since my exams ended, finally found it in HMV. haha~ *jumps around happily and hugs cd* i miss hiro! and i love her songs. so im so happy to get her new cd, even if its a compilation of her released singles, of which i have half of the tracks in her previous cds. haha~ but still... the cd comes with half of her new tracks as well as a mini photo album of her! hehe~ she has changed a lot too. i like her new image. I WANT HER HAIR!!! the one she had before she rebonded it. alas, if i were to cut my hair into something like hers, i'd look like some idiot. heh~

i waited for 45 minutes before a 77 came to pick me up to go home. boo hoo. i could have reached home by 7pm, but alas, thunder and lightning strike, and with it comes falling tree(s). and bukit timah had a fallen tree, which led to jam, which meant that the 77 buses were held up, which meant that there were no available buses at marina side or else they refused to leave, which led to poor me standing at the bus stop avoiding the rain with aching feet for 45 minutes waiting for the bus. sigh. and after i board the bus, the bus driver suddenly blasted the aircon, so i was basically freezing in the bus. i swear i was frozen when i finally alighted. had to thaw myself. -_-"
