ms lim came down to nus yesterday to borrow books. came to look for us in the library. chat a bit. found out that she's going to usa to study on a scholarship from MOE. she's going to columbia university in new york to do a course on curriculum planning. she'll be there for a year, august next year to august '07. also, before that, she'll be working in MOE, so she's not teaching already. ah well... wen hui was saying that we can go over and visit her during our holidays, or go over for the sep. hehe~ true true...

my 3/6 students are so sweet! hakim called me today. turns out they changed the bbq dates from 28-29th to 26-27th so that i can go, and it wont clash with my exam. how sweet is that? however, i told him i have a paper on the 29th, so it depends on how my revision is going along, n he told me that they want it on a weekend, and asked when i can make it. but since i'm going overseas on the 2nd, so can only make it on weekdays. and they're not booking a pit yet cos it depends on whether i can go or not! awww... now i feel so guilty. esp since the bbq is also intended as a surprise party for sean, whose birthday is on the 21st(i hope somehow he's not reading this... :P). so yeah. n so, humble me shall make an appearance on the 26th. grrr... now i have to think of a present to get for him. hmmm...

studied in jrl today w zhiyu. so much more conducive n quieter than central lib. going back tmr to study with mun wei. haha~ ok, 4 days left till my first paper! back to the books!
