and so, i turn another year older. i have hit the 2-0! gah! heh~ in the words of a certain chihwahwa, i have more white hairs. haha~

thanks to all who sent me birthday wishes!!! my kendo peeps, nadiah, chee chang, edmund, johnson, yick siew, jamie, aaron, jingyi, chong han and carrie and the peeps from RAMICA (we rock!!!! WHOOOOO!!!!), nisa (yay! u finally remb my birthday haha~), xinyi, mun wei, suyu, michelle, chee min, lionel, keyou, chihwahwa and most importantly MY FAMILY!!! hehe~ they wished me exactly at 12mn. haha~ thanks thanks!!!! and if i left out anyone, do forgive ms short-term memory here (old already), and thank you all so much!!! :)

today was rather simple. met jamie at marina square at 12.30pm, went shopping and watched a movie!!!! i bought two tops from FOX!!! hehe~ it was buy 2 tops and enjoy 50% discount for each top, and since both of my tops are of the same price, it was like 2 for the price of 1 or buy one get one free. haha~ and then, cos my dad has free GV movie tickets, me and jamie used them to watch XMEN 3. woot! i love xmen, and i love rogue!!! my fav xmen character. sadly, there wasn't much of her, but still. i am so sad that she chose to gave up her powers!!!! argh!!! but i understand why. i mean, would you want to keep your powers when having them means the inability to have any physical contact with people? imagine not being able to get a hug when you need it the most, or a simple touch. sigh, it was so sad. rogue has so much more potential and i hope the future xmen movies show more of her character. and i feel that she did not lose her powers completely. hmmm... we shall see! haha~

other than that, xmen was nice. i dont get why people keep telling me it sucks. it wasnt so bad! better than da vinci code. it really draws people into the characters, especially logan (wolverine), scott (cyclops) and rogue. and the plot wasn't touch-and-go. and the action was superb! and well, yes, scott died a little too easily but then again, hey, he is a man who is grieving at the knowledge that his beloved wife (i think) is dead, only to find out she is still alive and so he happily embraces her, not knowing that she has changed drastically and so ends up being killed by the woman he loves. not forgetting that jean gray is a class 5 mutant, meaning she is damn powerful. so of course scott dies easily. and i never really did like scott much anyway. heh~ too wishy-washy for my liking. on the other hand, i felt that professor xavier died a little too quickly. i was hoping to see more of his powers, but alas, it couldnt compare to jean's. sigh. but then again, anyone who stayed behind after the credits know that he isn't dead. haha~ smart man, that professor xavier. and magneto. still have his powers? ooooohhh. haha~ i want xmen 4! and i want more rogue! haha~ and i love storm's hairdo. and omg i love hank (beast). heh~ kitty was alright, ice-man could be better, erm fireboy (cant remember the actual name) was cool! haha~ and i think ramos from take the lead acted in xmen too! the porcupine-like mutant if im not wrong. heh~ cools!

dinner was at the ex-genghis kahn (i forgotten how to spell his name, see, im getting old!) restaurant. met my family there after the movie. ah, im so full!!! it was so yummy!!! i love the fondue, and im going to grow so fat. haha~ it was a lovely dinner :)

arts pre-camp was from monday to tuesday. it was fun fun fun!!! hehe~ and tiring. none of my og peeps were there, save for christopher but he went over to another house, that traitor. HAHA~ and so i made new friends!!! although it was kinda wierd cos most of them were from other houses or something and they knew each other beforehand, while i dont really know anyone. yah. so i felt kinda left out sometimes, but its alright! there's always the new freshies at arts camp!!! hehe~ i hope that there's cute guys in my og!!! although more likely the cute guys will erm run away at the sight of me. HAH!

monday night was night venture, which i was involved in as jennifer's assistant. it was fun! as in, listening to people freak out. heh~ laughed my head off when it was erm a house i/c's turn to go in, she was screaming so much someone who was sitting outside with her friend commented to us that we have a screamy girl in there(the station). haha~ ok i am mean. anyway, i helped to dress up the "ghosts"! hehe~ ym's sudden moment of creativity. -_-"

and then, joined my kendo peeps for supper. was going cos we were celebrating wai leng's and siew's bd, but turned out my bd celebration also included. hmmm... who is the naughty one who spread my bd date around ah??? heh~ anyway, thanks people!!! the first group of people to celebrate my birthday this year. oh wows, this marks the erm 4th or 5th year i've actually celebrated my birthday!!! heh~ it all started at jc1 in council... ahhh

and so, i have also been officially single for 2 years now! woot! hehe~ let's see how long i'll remain single for!!! scarely it's forever, haha! my mum will kill me. hehe~
