last nite, i nearly had a heart attack. my dear iron decided to act as a washing machine rather than an iron. so while normal irons will juz help you to smoothen out the creases on ur clothes, this particular iron decided to wet my clothes as well. while ironing, instead of trails of water(which was wad happened in e past, & it didnt happen often), there is now frequent blotches(HUGE BLOTCHES) of HOT WATER being leaked onto my clothes. hallelujah. instead of ironed clothes, i end up w wet ones. wad then, is the point of washing my clothes, drying them, and attempting to iron them when all i end up w are wet ones again? yesterday, the iron just couldnt stop leaking, much worse from when we first bought it. we had to place a towel on the floor to absorb all that steaming hot water leaking out from the iron. i was like, yay! its raining in the house. hooray.
i am now looking for quotes from england england. here's a particular section which is really funny (NOTE: If u are a superbly staunch christian, pls skip this section):
Martha Cochrane is a child in school saying her own version of the Lord's prayer:
Alfalfa, who farts in Devon,
Bellowed be thy name.
Thy wigwam come.
Thy swill be scum
In Bath, which is near the Severn.
Give us this day our sandwich spread,
And give us our bus-passes,
As we give those who bus-pass against us,
And lead us not into Penn Station,
Butter the liver and the weevil.
For thine is the wigwam, the
flowers and the story,
For ever and ever ARE MEN.
