in aes staff room, we have a very warm culture. my colleagus are generally very warm n friendly ppl, willing to set aside time just to help u get orientated with your surroundings, giving useful tips n advice, listening in to ur complaints n joking all day long...

i guess the time tt really bonds us together is lunch time, or anytime we go down to the canteen to eat. it may start off with just two of us, and then soon more people will join our table. soon, we'll be sharing stories n experiences, just like old friends. it's a wonderful break from having to deal with students the whole day, n the easiest way to get to know your colleagues. in aes staff rm, everyone knows everyone else.

n everytime after sch, at the end of lessons, when the staff room is bustling with teachers coming in after a long day of work, u can hear some of the funniest things ard. it's e time when teachers kick off their shoes n sit back n relax. its a time when we act like kids, act cute or gossip. its a time to share how ur day has been, its a time to make after work plans with fellow colleagues, its a time e students rarely get to see. teachers calling each other names, teasing one another, being cute, saying the lamest things, climbing on tables(to get or fix sth), talking n joking loudly, singing songs(even lame ones); the students will get a shock if they saw us... hahaha~ like there was one time, mr lee wei meng n mr micheal kept singing this song abt sth they dont have.... yah well mr lee started it but it caught on. n today, le ming was acting cute, saying she's e prettiest woman ard, n then getting suan by ee-lyn n regina. n mr fun's non-stop flirting... haha~

e staff room.... i guess it'll be sth i'll miss when i leave. frm a student to a teacher (although relief), it was pretty much an experience working with teachers, MY teachers in fact. its a place which makes all the crap you've had that day all the more bearable. im glad i had this chance to see n be a part of this warm aes staff culture.

this friday, having steamboat dinner with my colleagues. it was sharon's idea. she wanted to have one b4 i leave... so nice of her.... so yup. hehe~ the first n last dinner i'll have w them! hahaha~ promoted liaoz... keke~ ritez, tt all fer now, chaoz!
