sigh, my laptop has been bombarded by endless spy and adware, and viruses, thanks to IE. and somehow, no matter what is done(even by the repairman), the viruses and all still exist. they are like parasites that just wont leave you alone! so irritating. so i changed my browser to firefox. and now i cant view my blog on firefox properly becos some of the codes are disabled by firefox. ARGH!!!!!! haiz... and now i have to change my blogskin. and i really really like this blogskin, so much that i actually emailed the person and asked her if she could edit this one so that it fits firefox, but alas, she doesnt know how. haiz. oh well, yuen mei shall go blogskin-hunting again. sad to say, a check on blogskins yesterday revealed that the skins now-adays are getting less and less creative. its sad, you know, and irritating. almost every skin now-adays have the "click on sth" to navigate thing, and moreover, they all contain cute lil love stuff or an overdose of avatars that seriously makes it look bad. its sad. where's the creativity man? that's why i like my current one a lot. i think it's really nice, and vintage. ya.... i should learn how to do my own skins, except that (a)i dont understand much about all those html shit, (b) im just too plain lazy. haha~ :P

oh ya, last night, we had a post-rag steamboat dinner at marina. guess what? its the first time that i ever went to marina for steamboat! yah i know, yuen mei needs to get a life. believe me, i have never went to kbox either(and i hear huge gasps and disbelief stares and i no i have not gone bonkers and i am not an alien). and so, my taxi buddies, alvin and benedict, has declared a kboxing session on the next outing so as to educate poor yuen mei on the wonders of singing in that room. hmm... ok anw, so ya, reached that area, i was woah! so many ppl! i have never experienced a steamboat session of this scale before. haha~ so anw, we got our tables, sat down, and started complaining abt how hungry/famished we are and why is it that they(the ppl working there) can't start the fire for us. this carried on for a gd half hour(i think) before the ppl came and got the fire going. and so it was a mad rush for the serving tables for food, while me and wenhui went to get some cooked ones so as to feed the hungry peeps while waiting for the uncooked to cook. it was great fun, really. we had 3(the 4th doesnt reall count) "bimbos" who were all dressed in the same shade of pink and black. pure coincidence? freaky. ya, and we took pics, which i dont have any(yet) cos i didnt bring my camera. ah... ok, ya so anw, jianwu came late and he recieved a gift, which was a (drumroll please.....) kids toy toolset! hahaha~ he kept laughing. and would you believe it, that guy broke his slippers, again! and it was only one week old. i tell you, jianwu is seriously cursed where slippers are concerned. during rag itself, he lost one, broke one, and now broke another. oh there was also a storytelling session on the erm dirtiness of the house. and also, ivan was so fascinated with the live prawns(meant for cooking) that he kept playing with them. which looked damn funny, albeit sinister, and which freaked fiona out so much she kept shrieking in my ear. now we know why gerri and ivan make such a good couple. both of them are equally sinister ppl when it comes to the poor prawns. i shall not go into detail on their escapades with the prawns. anw, before we knew it, it was 10.30, and time to go! and yes, jianwu insisted on going home(ie walking in public, and taking the public transport system) barefooted. ah..... he cant be helped. he should seriously consider giving up slippers all together or keeping a spare one in his bag at all times. hahaha~

ok, and now, back to my tutorials. argh!!!! homework readings project. it has started!
