yay! i'm back! whoohooO!!! sorry for the lonnnngggggggg disappearance folks, been really busy lately. yeah man. had arts o-week which ended on thurs, and arts rag which ended earlier today. yah man... plus biddings n all.... im going crazy!!!!!! yayy!!!!!!!!!!!! *warning:hyper me is a result of lack of slp*

well, juz a shoutout of all my ramen og mates! yay! well done folks! sorry i couldnt be ard often, busy w rag n stuff, but u guys r great! muz meet up for our ajisen ramen outing some day yeah!

n i got all my 5 modules! yea man! sch starts on mon, woohoo!!! n im gonna cut my hair heh...

yah n erm.... i wont be talking much abt o week yah, lest some peeps(heh) complain im too detailed agains... haha~ anw, i missed out a lot to talk abt it, juz say its almost like arts camp yah....

anw, purpose for this post: rag!!! yeah! im RAGGERFIED!!!! shoutout to all arts raggers, we rock manz! yah! n its over! love u guys to bits!

its been a great 2 months working w them, the tech, costumes, dance, make-up etc, each n every one special n important, thanks folks for being a part of rag n for the wonderful n unforgetable memories. esp to my dance mates, those times we tutored each other dance steps, encouraged n motivated, joked n laughed, missing those times already, gotta meet up for dinner folks! it feels wierd now not haveing to rush down to as7 or to the src or the rag house for dance pracs. u guys r great n u rock!

2 months, it all culminated n ended today. but our day started officially yesterday, when we all met at as7 at 2.30 for a last practice session there. so wierd not dancing there w u guys.... anw, after the short session, moved back to rag house to help out in tech n costumes, working till 8 plus where we had our dinner. at 9.30, the dancers were asked to sleep. woke up n met at 11.15pm for another run-through at house number 4(beside our rag house), then breaking off at 12 plus to put on costumes n make-up n do our hair. at 2 plus in the morning, all tech work on the float had to stop and validation started, marking the beginning of rag day. representatives from other faculties came n validated our float. at 3 plus, the float was driven to the src where rag day will be held, and the dancers piled onto the back of a lorry to be 'chauffered' to the same place. what an experience, driving at 3 plus behind a float, on the main road, accompanied by a cisco officer, and cars stopping for us to pass. felt like vip or sth... hahaha~ at src, more waiting n touching up was done, n photos taken which i will post later.

waited till ard 5 plus 6am, n we had our dry-run at the performing area. basically did blocking, not full-out cos we din wanna dirty our costumes. yeah. n then it was more waiting n touching up, each minute a struggle to keep our eyes open n mind awake.

and then, it was breakfast, and at 9plus, it was time for pre-judging. went over to the float there, n waited for the judges to arrive. when they did, a representative from our side, ie reuben, would explain the concept n storyline behind the float. n we, the dancers, had to strike a pose n hold there for 5 minutes. so we did one of the poses frm our dance, which required mi to do a half-squat n hold there, which is bad for an injured knee n darn tiring. plus cannot move or else penalty. argh... but we survived, did slight little shifts whenever they werent looking. yeah.... n then more waiting....

after what seemed like an eternity, with endless touching ups n last minute rehearsals, it was finally our turn. marched in with the float, spirits up and heads held high. we were going to give it our all, only 5 short precious minutes, we could do it! very quickly, it ended, and we were running out of the performance area, screams n cheers from arts fac supporters resounding in our heads. it was over. over 2 months of hard work, over in 5 minutes. but we felt good, happy, glad we did it, glad for the friendships, glad for everything. i wouldnt regret joining rag, im glad i did, n most likely, this will be my first n last time doing this (if my parents have their way). the aches, soreness, sleepiness, everything was worth it. now im sunburnt, red n painful, aching limbs, eyelids on their way to closing, n i miss rag. haha~ at 10 plus am, it was over.

results were announced aomewhere ard 1, we din win anything, but still.... it had been a great experience. once more, im glad i took it. yeah.... had our centanniel lunch(ie, free food!), then headed back to rag house, n left. but i hope, n im sure everyone else at rag do too, that these bonds n memories built will never end. see u all again, n to rag 2005 n 6! ARTS ROCKS!
