played badminton yesterday with a few fellow kendokas! it was kinda fun! i haven't played badminton for a long time, so i was kind of rusty. which made my already horrendous badminton skills even worse. bwahaha! kudos to them for putting up with me though, heh!
anyways, zhen feng, nicholas, wen hao, mun wei, yick siew and kiat meng came for the game! and we were doing stupid stuff like kiai-ing when each time we hit the shuttle cock to show spirit, fumikomi, doing the kendo way of playing badminton, the tennis way, the golf-ing way etc etc. and there was this point where me, mun wei, wen hao and siew were tired and we just sat on the floor and played. haha! i think we were like one of the most amusing courts or something.
and siew is eviiiil! when zhen feng and mun wei were playing a match against each other, she kept trying to distract zhen feng! bwahaha~ but it only succeeded twice. what does that say, i wonder? hmmmmmmm *ahem*.
anyways, rewards from badminton? a muscle-ached right arm and a pained butt. hahaha! but it was fun stil! heh~ but i wanna play netball! i miss netball! anyone wants to play netball? heee~

training todays was fun! tiring and fun! hehe~ and i survived! whee!!! it feels good to be training after not training for sooooo long! haha~ so yahs, it was great fun! and i had to do after-training exercise some more, which was running after the bus. :( heh~ but kudos to bao fang and edwin for running for the bus with me! hee~
sensei corrected my tai-a-tare, so there's food-for-thought. also, i still keep moving my left foot before hitting a men cut. darn left foot! heh~ so i need to work on that too! and i need to show more spirit! ROOOOOAAAAR!!!! not happy not happy not happy!
there is much work to do for kendo. ym must work harder! *nods head* ting said today that playing badminton the day before kendo isn't such a bad idea, cos it helps to improve your stamina and tone the muscles. yepz. maybe i should go swimming on days where there's no badminton. hmmmm....

funny pics of a few of us kendokas at supper! we're crazy i tell you!

me and kitt doing some funny shot! i was actually sticking my tongue out as well, but nic, sarah, mich, siew were making me laugh, that's why i look so weird. sarah says that i look as though im trying to eat myself with my chopsticks, bwahaha!

sarah and siew! sarah insists on taking a pic with siew and her new handphone pouch, cos of what it says. it reads "i don't suffer from insanity. i enjoy every minute of it." an accurate reflection of siew, i must say. haha~ oh and those chopsticks are courtesy of me and nic and kitt too, i think. haha~ and mich is sorta sticking her head in haha~ she looks like she's eating though. hehe~
looking at today's supper, it struck me how close my batch of kendokas are! i guess we're really lucky to be gelling together as a group. i've never really felt close to a group of people from my batch before, so to be able to feel so now is really cool. haha~ really. it's like we're some sort of weird family of siblings or something, haha~ must be all those kbox sessions and dinner sessions (from last year, pre-bogu. i feel old already.), those banner paintings and all. so thanks a lot folks for making this journey an even more enjoyable one, and thanks for all the support you guys have shown! hehe~ i hope that the new batch of juniors will be able to bond together too! it really makes things so much funner and well, easier to work with each other too! yep!
ah, long entry. i should go and sleep. 8am lecture tomorrow.... NOOOOO!!!! and erm, CMAD is tomorrow too! yay! haha~ ok, tatas!
