met up with Nisa yesterday afternoon for lunch. bumped into her on the bus the day before, and we decided to meet for lunch! met at westmall, had KFC. i haven't had kfc for a loooooong time, so yah. haha. great catching up with her, chit-chatting and all. i miss nisa! she's such a sweet girl. she's my rock in JC, she and nadiah. nisa will be the one to keep me sane in class and in council, the one to confide and chiong through schoolwork and council projects together. nadiah gives me encouragement and support, and is always there whenever i need her. i miss them both.... i havent had the chance to meet nadiah yet. :( i don't have many close friends in JC, and the two of them are the people who really stayed with me and cared for me the most. tough times, JC.
after lunch, headed over to plaza sing to meet sarah, who was late, as usual. watched gridiron gang. nice show, one of those inspirational ones about bad guys turned good guys. haha. well, the juveniles in the movie reminds me of my students. tough on the outside, softies on the inside. and as usual, the world needs to stop criticizing and judging these people. sometimes i wonder if i'm studying the wrong major. when i watch these kind of films, when i see these teenagers, i feel a need to help them, to be there for them, to do something for them. i don't know what i can do as a journalist for them, and i feel sad. i'm given the chance to take up teaching, to help through teaching, but i don't really want to teach. i don't think i can be of a teacher-student relation to these students. anyway, i digress. so yes, the movie was good, it was rather enjoyable despite starring the rock. however, i don't buy into the lil bow wow as a gangster thing. he just doesn't look like one, no matter how hard he acts like one. the looks you know. and the fact he burst out into the entertainment scene at a young age.
after the movie, we went to bugis to meet yk, jeremy, ys, mw and zf for steamboat dinner. got lost trying to find the place with jer; the people who were late ended up reaching the restaurant first. and then us lost sheeps realized that we were initially mere meters away from the restaurant! how sucky is that? haha.
dinner was alright. the food was okay, the soup was okay, the mala.... well, disappointing. too oily, and no kick. i still like the suntec one, despite the high price. the company was good though! haha. many laughters and er scandals and embarrassment going around. hehe.
sarah and jeremy are in perth now! *waves*

later at night, met with shuying, xinyi and vicky at holland v's coffee club for some dessert and chit-chat session. bumped into ju yeoun, who is working there. i had apple crumble, 'twas good! hehe. great meeting up with them again! and catching up. going to have a pri sch bbq gathering when i return!
and so, that marks the end of today and yesterday!
