fri : JJ 25th anniversary dinner cum prom! 'twas held at suntec city, convention hall, ballrooms 1,2,3. to think that during my prom, it was at the school field. :( but i must say, my prom had much better, yummier, and special food! why? cos it wasnt the same old boring chinese restaurant-ish food.

bumped into some seniors and some juniors. great seeing all of them and catching up! haha. the band which won the talentime was awesome! can see why they won. the lead singer is really funny though. doing all those cute lil dance steps, hehe. i think she provided the most entertainment that night.

next jj event: jj night, 5th jan! hmm... wondering if i can make it for that. hmm...

oh, and jj's love fiesta is coming back this year too! too bad im not around to attend it, wahaha. still remember the very first one we had... from my batch. well, it is hard not to forget that day, heh.

sat: met jamie in the late afternoon for a shopping session. supposed to meet earlier, but i think i overdosed on chinese tea during the JJ dinner (what to do, cough mah. cannot drink all the other soft drinks available), and thus, was only able to fall asleep at 7am! woot.

anyway, so we walked around tangs, taka and wisma. i bought an evening dress from arithalia, the same shop where i bought my j2 prom stuff. the shop has some really great clothes! haha. although jamie was commenting that the shop looked like it sold those more matured clothes from the outside, the inside had some hip clothes as well. now jamie is thanking me for introducing the shop to her, esp since the price there is rather affordable! i paid $50 for my dress, where in other places, it could cost a whopping $80 to $100. like jamie said, $50 for a whole lot of cloth (and i mean, a whole lot) is rather worth it! haha.

the rest of the time, jamie was doing the shopping. well, im broke. haha. and then, an impromptu decision was made. we decided to watch a night at the (in the?) museum! headed over to ps (tix at cine was sold out), where we bought tix to the 9.30pm show. jamie wanted to watch it so much, she didnt mind the 2nd row from the front seats. haha. the movie is good though, a refreshing change from the constant stream of romantic comedies coming out of hollywood. this movie is a really must-see!

after that, rushed to catch my bus. the night before, i had to sprint 50m in my heels to catch the last bus. this night, i waited for the last bus, afraid that i had missed it. haha. geez, having to catch the last bus is such a chore. haha.

sun (yesterday): was dragged out of bed early to go shopping with my parents. went to robinson to find a pair of good walking shoes to bring over to uk. had to take into account that i have to walk on snow. haha. so we went to timberland, but there wasnt any shoe my size. which turned out to be a good thing, cos later, i found a pair of nice, comfy shoes from hush puppies! at a much cheaper price too! hehe. over at og.

other stuff i bought (or my parents bought for me, tee-hee): formal blouse and pants from G2000, winter gloves from OG, lip gloss from robinson. lunch was at the mushroom pot at og. 'twas yummy! and i have fish fillet paper steamboat! yummies! and no, i did not eat fish made of paper!!! this statement is directed at a blur piggie who said i ate fish made of paper.

after that, headed over to ps to meet yongkai, zf and shiou thin. another impromptu session organized by yk. he brought us to eat the famous rocher park tau huay (drool ys, drool. wahaha). it is really yummylicious! can really see and taste the difference in the beancurd. yums! thanks for the treat, yk!

after that, the bo liao people decided to walk to kino, taka. -_-" so we walked there, and i bought a mini sketchbook to make my own diary, cos the ones there either dont have the one that i want, or else it was too ex. :( haha. zf happily used my kino card to buy some magazine. hmmm...

dinner was at ajisen, at which mr yk and mr zf took such a long time to eat, i seriously thought we would spend new yr there. like, seriously. how hard is it to eat two gyozas? even if they do resemble ys.... still.... hehe. after that, mr yk declares a huge need to digest, and so we walked all the way back to ps and beyond. supposed to walk to suntec, but it started raining, and it was going to 10.30pm by then, so i bid them all farewell at raffles city. missed my bus. waited for a freaking half an hour. and there are no seats at the bus stop, so i stood with sore legs for 30 minutes, thinking i will either say happy new year while waiting for the bus, or happy new year in the bus. the bus finally came, and thanks to the small group of us boredies who would rather head home then to stay on in a crowded area after 12, i reached home by 11.40pm. woot. spent my new year showering. wahaha.

the king and the clown is a really beautiful korean movie. so sad.... i love lee jun ki! omg! he is sooooo talented! omg! he had to be a very feminine character, and darn, he was sooooo feminine i feel ashamed. omg! but yah, it is a really great movie.

today: home till dinner. my parents wanted to bring me out for fine dining before i left for uk, so tonight's dinner will be at lawry's. sucks then, that i am still sick. been sick since last mon. haiz. and today, i have a bad cough, body aches and fever. why hello step 1, all over again. sigh.

when oh when, am i going to recover?
